Rhythm and Beat.

We can strum or pick both rhythms and beats on our Ukulele. It is a common mistake to think these both mean the same thing.

Explain
Activity
  • You are playing a beat, when all of your notes are the same length.
  • A rhythm has notes of different lengths
  • Watch the video, then in pairs or as a class, try playing each other rhythms and beats and seeing if you can identify which it is.
